Together with the
Alhambra, which is definitely Granada’s most
widely known monument, the city also has many
other places of great historical interest about
which visitors need to receive information.
The city has many
high quality hotels and shops which depend to a
great extent on the visitors to the Alhambra and
the other historic areas of the city.
The City Council of
Granada believes in developing tourism in the
city as a basis for economic expansion in a
context of sustainable development. Bearing in
mind that the interdependence between the city
and tourism can be fostered by improving
accessibility for our visitors, the City Council
has decided to organize this Competition aimed at
promoting the relation between the Alhambra and
the City of Granada.
These documents
include different ideas and suggestions on this
matter, to which we very much hope you will add
your contributions.
